Medical claim
If you suffer the typical health effects and symptoms of water damaged building and can show that symptoms only appeared after the water damage or condensation event, we can often provide supportive evidence in a claim for personal injury or material damage no matter how long ago.
Flood event
If your property has ever been affected by a flood, it is almost certain the restoration contractor didn't provide a certificate of decontamination and or drying. From our investigations over many years we usually find properties still contaminated, have hidden or visible damage markers and often have associated health hazards even years after the event. With the need to declare this type of event to perspective purchasers you may consider a claim against the contractors and or the insurers that nominated them. You may also recognise health effects such as respiratory illness asthma and other symptoms have developed in family members since the flood event and this can lead to personal injury claim too.
